Includes two main modules, lossless mechanism, and prediction market.
Including but not limited to Ethereum, BSC, Heco, OKExChain, Solana, Conflux, and other public chains.
Prediction prizes can come from not only interest or financial gains obtained from users' staked funds, but also from external third-party prize sponsorship (including the third-party project tokens). Through the prize sponsorship, third parties can promote it in the prediction market, attract early seed users and conduct token distribution. It also supports the exchange of third-party project tokens for the original prize of this prediction event to help the project raise funds and users who predict correctly can get project tokens (i.e. lossless investment).
In order to facilitate users to deposit funds without actively participating in prediction staking, an automatic prediction function is provided. The following strategies are included.
1) Random prediction: purely random selection of predictions among multiple prediction results.
2) Bet the majority of outcomes: automatically bet on the outcome that receives more support.
3) Bet on few outcomes: automatically bet on outcomes with less support.
4) Follow other users: follow other users who are more correct.
NFTs are generated from the prediction results and randomly airdropped to users who participate in the prediction of that event. NFT will show the dynamic trend of group opinion over time in a predicted event.
Grow the power of the community and maximize community participation. This includes but is not limited to creating prediction events, assigning prediction event prize weights, resolving prediction event result disputes, upgrading and updating contracts, etc.
Supports developers to create their own independent lossless prediction markets using the Better protocol. The independent lossless prediction marketplace accepts deposits of assets from users and provides predictions of specific events and users who get the prediction right can share the prize from the event.
The independent lossless prediction markets created by the developers themselves do not participate in the total prize pool of Better and can be divided into a "private pool" and a "public pool". The "private pool" is restricted to whitelisted users only, while the "public pool" allows all users to participate.
The Better protocol will provide a variety of underlying revenue strategies for independent lossless prediction markets, including protocols such as Compound and Yearn.
1) Multiple departments in a company compete for a performance target and the competition can be set up as a lossless prediction market to predict which department will win. Employees in each department deposit money and bet on their own department. The user who predicts correctly will split the prize.
2) For a bet between a few friends, you can also create a lossless prediction market, deposit money and bet on different outcomes and the user who predicts correctly will split the prize.
