# Conclusion

The blockchain prediction market has come a long way from its birth in 2014 to now in 2021, with pioneers, martyrs, backwaters and innovative disruptors. With product solutions evolving from "peer-to-peer" to the "peer-to-single pool", and then iterating to the "peer-to-whole pool". In between, we have experienced the heat of the World Cup and the U.S. election and a much longer lull.

The prediction market is a lost pearl in the blockchain world, which will one day be picked up by a superhero and we believe this day will come sooner or later.

Stay tuned!
